LOCATION: Mae Sa Elephant camp (north of Chiang Mai)

This is a shot of me on the back of my elephant. It was taken by the elephant camp employees who of course demanded a king's ransom for the photo at the end of the tour! Even though I don't like such highway robbery, I decided that the photo would make a memorable part of my collection so I bought it. I guess I prefer the Elephant Conservation Centre north of Lampang because it is less commercial.
