After a long hiatus, I’ve decided to try to refresh my personal website and bring it into the 21st Century by riding on the shoulders of giants who created several open source projects that have enabled this humble preliminary attempt.

My lunch with David

For the most part these past several weeks of late winter have been spent hibernating waiting for things to become warmer, but I am grateful to David (DHL) who last month visited Nagano on his way for cross country skiing before a conference and invited me to join him for an extravagant feast. David said he enjoys Japanese French food, so we made a reservation at a relatively new restaurant called La Rencontre on the back streets near Zenkoji Temple.

I was asked to fill in as drink TA for the introductory computer science lecture at Brown University and to mix a pina colada for the professor (Andy van Dam) on stage. Presentation in Tokyo about LoRa adventures

I delivered a short presentation about my explorations over the past several years with LoRa and IoT.
